The Human Intelligence Project - Devin
“The Human Intelligence Project” is in full swing, and our next team member we’re highlighting is one of Max Connect’s partners.
Meet Devin Deaton
Devin oversees Max Connect’s digital strategy from a high level. This includes our digital product offerings, attribution, targeting methodologies, technologies, strategic partnerships, and more. He’s quarterbacked every single aspect of our digital marketing from day one. In fact, he used to personally run every single campaign for Max Connect. He tackled everything from keyword research, setting up Google Analytics, implementing optimizations, and running reports.
Devin’s background in digital marketing dates back to 2006 when he taught himself the ins and outs of the industry while he attended college. Upon graduating, he worked at a number of startups in Utah, where he was recruited to work at an agency in San Francisco, handling Netflix, Chevron, and BlackRock financial. He took the knowledge he gained working with Fortune 500 companies and applied that to small businesses for Max Connect.
Devin likes to have fun at work by occasionally bringing in live animals (llamas in particular- yes, you read that right), driving dirt bikes through the office, lighting fireworks off inside, throwing darts 100 feet across the office into the walls, punting footballs into the ceiling, and participating in more office shenanigans.Max Connect has a culture unlike any other company. We've enjoyed in-office go-karts, basketball, gaming, darts, golf, football, llamas, and fantasy drafts.
The Human Intelligence Project
Emerging technologies raise the question: Is AI better than the human mind? Although some assume AI has the potential to defeat human intelligence, we believe they can and should co-exist. To showcase the human element of our industry, we created “The Human Intelligence Project.” This project offers a glimpse inside the minds of our creative and talented team members. Max Connect has a culture unlike any other company. We've enjoyed in-office go-karts, basketball, gaming, darts, golf, football, llamas, and fantasy drafts. While others talk about culture, we live it. We believe happy employees are more innovative.
We're just getting started on “The Human Intelligence Project,” so make sure to check back each week as we feature another team member. If you have questions in the meantime or need a marketing campaign that’s one for the books, hit us up at (801) 260-2835, or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
